He has tried a significant number of cases to verdict in NJ and NY, in state and federal court.
In over 30 years of practice, Mr. Drago has managed cases in the areas of product liability (automobiles, motorcycles, ATV's, heavy machinery, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, flammable fabrics, medical devices and consumer/commercial products), medical malpractice, transportation/trucking, premises liability, Dram Shop, insurance coverage, professional malpractice and commercial litigation. He defended a Canadian company that mined chrysotile asbestos.

Mr. Drago developed particular expertise in cases involving the defense of assumption of risk for professional and amateur sports leagues and teams, international amateur organizations, sports sanctioning organizations, motorsports organizations and recreational venues such as stadiums, amusement parks and water parks.

Mr. Drago is considered an expert in this field and advises companies in this area. His expertise was recognized in the court's decision in Livshitz v. United States Tennis Association, 196 Misc.2d 460 (2003).

Mr. Drago has also handled high-profile cases where contact with the media was crucial to the management of the cases, including a CERCLA matter that appeared on 60 Minutes and the litigation arising out of the 1994 Woodstock Festival that involved well known musical artists and others.
